Who We Are

The Canadian Association of Pregnancy Support Services (CAPSS) was formed in 1997 to provide a Canadian national association dedicated to establishing, equipping, and encouraging local pregnancy care centres.

As CAPSS partners with local centres, we provide leadership development, operational standards, staff and volunteer training, and ongoing encouragement and support.

We purpose to help assist local pregnancy care centres reach and compassionately care for clients facing issues related to unplanned pregnancies, post abortion stress, and sexual health. We value the frontline work of the staff and volunteers at local pregnancy care centres. We also value serving our communities with excellence, integrity, humility, honesty, and compassion. We believe in providing accurate medical information and resources.

We Believe in the Sanctity and Dignity of Human Life

Human beings are made in the image of God; therefore all humankind has intrinsic value and significance from conception to natural death. We affirm the sacredness and dignity of all persons: male and female, unborn, aged, physically challenged, mentally handicapped, and any person who is devalued – “the least of these” – in our society.

CAPSS is governed by a Board of Directors with various skills and professional backgrounds from across Canada.

CAPSS is a non-political, Christian, registered charity. Charitable #880400221 RR0001
